Amy S Thiele is a medical technologist, laboratory surveyor and consultant with more than 13 years of experience in the healthcare sector. She has an extensive track record of providing technical support for medical laboratories of all sizes. She started her health career in 1998 at the Arkansas State University (AR), where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology—with emphasis in Zoology and a minor in Chemistry. In 2005, she bagged a B.S. in Medical Technology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Currently the owner and laboratory technical consultant at Compliance Consultants, Amy has assisted multiple laboratories maintain compliance with federal and state regulations. She possesses a solid repertoire of technical skills which include maintaining quality control as well as quality assurance records. Amy has occupied various CLIA positions such as technical consultant; general and technical supervisor; and laboratory director in renowned health facilities.

Amy’s distinctive abilities include conducting mock surveys, ensuring regulatory compliance and creating IQCP packets for several medical laboratories. Having worked at Arkansas Department of Health as a CLIA inspector, Amy more than solidifies her status as a detail oriented medical laboratory scientist who focuses on problem solving and team communication.
