Description:

Sally Ogot is a global laboratory consultant and director with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector. She has an extensive track record in developing and executing processes that align with the regulatory guidelines and quality control. She started her health career in 1979 at Goshen College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Biological Sciences. She also studied clinical laboratory science in the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and bagged a Master of Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) in Medical technology from the University of Pittsburgh. In 2008, she was awarded a certificate woman in the professional leadership program at the Coro Center for Civic Leadership.


Currently the president at Ondiek Ogot Laboratory Consultants, LLC; Sally’s high level of expertise is evident in her dedication towards team building and leadership, procedural development, and operations management. With competencies in core laboratory, microbiology, molecular diagnostics, project management, quality assurance, cost controls, etc., Sally fitted in seamlessly at her previous workplaces such as the Fort Washington Medical Center and Quest Diagnostics.


Sally is a licensed medical technologist and a worthy member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). In 2014, she was issued a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. She also owns a Florida Medical Technology License issued by the State of Florida Department of Health. Sally speaks English and Swahili. Her work has been featured in some publications; she has undertaken multiple research projects as well. Sally was awarded the Clinical Award for Best Medical Technology Student at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
