Tabetha Sundin is a scientific doctor and writer with over 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector. She has served as a Scientific Director for Sentara Healthcare, an Integrated Delivery Network in Virginia, covering both Molecular Diagnostics and Serology laboratories. Dr. Sundin started her scientific career in 2002 at Old Dominion University (Norfolk, VA) where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science (B.S) in biology and eventually a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in biomedical sciences. Her milestone achievements were recognised by the university as she was named one of the College of Health Sciences 30 Distinguished Alumni. She now serves as an adjunct associate professor in her department.

Dr. Sundin has been responsible for clinical and business oversight of the molecular diagnostics and serology laboratories at Sentara Healthcare, from 2013 through present day. During her tenure she has insourced numerous tests resulting in a 300% increase in testing volume in her departments. In addition to her work at Sentara, she is also a scientific writer and trained speaker who has the honour of serving on numerous committees.

Dr. Sundin has worked as a consultant for multiple organizations including LUNGevity, Precision Medicine Coalition, Astrazeneca and Bristol Myers Squibb. She has traveled the country providing education on the importance of biomarker testing for oncology treatment decisions. She has had the honor of presenting at numerous regional, national and international symposiums which included oral presentations at annual meetings for USCAP, AMP, and NSH.
