Zin Htway is a certified cytotechnologist, scientific consultant and instructor with more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare sector. Zin’s level of expertise is unrivalled, as he has worked extensively in numerous leading roles across many reputable health institutions. He started his health career in 1986 by attending the California State University (Northridge). There, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Clinical Sciences, Cytotechnology, in 1992. He also received a certificate of completion from the Los Angeles Consortium of Cytotechnology. In 2012, Zin received his MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governor’s University (Utah). Three years after, he bagged a PhD in Public Health from Walden University (Minneapolis).

Currently the supervisor and operations manager of anatomy pathology at HCA Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center, Zin demonstrates unique knowledge of clinical pathology. He is a registered member of California Association of Cytotechnology (CAC), American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), and International Academy of Cytology (IAC). Zin is licenced by both the California and State of Hawaii DHS (Department of Healthcare Services). His willingness to explore new medical avenues has earned him notable certifications from the National Institutes of Health (NHIS) and the Department of Homeland Security.

Being a full time lecturer and avid researcher, Zin’s findings are acknowledged in numerous publications. He also makes oral presentations at notable, most recently the National Association of Non-traditional Students in Higher Education Conference. In his spare time, Zin enjoys contributing to community. He is a professional mentor at the Young Ambassadors Leadership Academy (YALA) and Thousand Oaks High School. Zin is credited with helping dozens of young students gain scholarship awards to their preferred higher education institutions.
